Job Description

We're hiring a Senior Analyst, Global Procurement who will report to the Director, Procurement Operations. While the preference is for the ideal candidate to work from our Columbia, MD, headquarters location, working from another Grace location in North America may be available.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be involved with projects and initiatives across our Source to Pay platforms, including assembling and analyzing data & market trends, troubleshooting issues, and developing recommendations to support the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Actively embrace and use framework and roadmap that develops, simplifies, and standardizes Grace’s Source to Pay processes and system across all regions
  • Actively and effectively foster trusting relationships with business partners to ensure connectivity and alignment with global procurement operations and strategic sourcing organization.
  • Actively work with other procurement operations and Category Managers to gather and analyze data that supports opportunities to enhance category and project strategies that will drive process efficiencies and cost productivity.
  • Coordinate with other professionals to implement changes and new systems.
  • Identifies underperforming areas and suggest improvements or resolutions to problems.
  • Build financial models and predictive analytical models to support various business decisions.
  • Develop, implement and track S2P scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • You will own the SAP Cloud Analytics system, which will require you to have close connectivity and alignment with our IT organizations to ensure proper functionality and enhancements are incorporated.
  • Oversee and participate in projects that support the transition of S2P transactional activities to the Grace Operations Center in Manila and Poland.
  • Engage and network with industry professionals to identify best practices and benchmark performance to ensure Grace S2P KPIs are optimized.

Required Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a role that provides analytical support to a department / function and interfaces with suppliers / customers (both internal and external)
  • Ability to translate raw data into usable information
  • Proficient with the MS Office Suite to include strong Excel (pivot tables, V / H look up)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to link complex information and concepts into actionable solutions that create value for Grace
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to different levels / functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Prior project management experience and demonstrating the success in process improvements you’ve implemented
  • Proficient using SAP, especially as it relates to the procure-to-pay process, as well as administrative functions

  • Proficient with the SAP cloud analytics tool and SAP.
  • Previous experience supporting or working in a manufacturing company.
  • Procurement or Supply Chain certification highly preferred.
