Description

Job Responsibilities

Serve as the outfacing primary liaison between the Chair’s Office and internal and external stakeholders, including staff and faculty in CSAM and the Ryan Hospital leadership team, fielding questions, directing faculty with questions to appropriate resources, screens and prioritizes stakeholders meeting with the Chair;

manages Chair calendar

  • Oversee faculty actions including appointment, reappointment, and promotion. Develops and executes standard operating guidelines involving referee selection and solicitation, candidate dossier preparation, advertisements, communications with candidates, search committees, and School-level academic affairs personnel, maintains strict confidentiality of action information, composes drafts of Chair letters, maintains and organizes electronic storage of files.
  • Oversees and directs CSAM administrative assistant
  • Oversees, develops, and maintains electronic storage of CSAM policies, correspondence, faculty files, and information.
  • Plans and helps execute CSAM functions and events, such as town halls, committee meetings, symposia, celebrations of work-related milestones, seminars, and employee wellness and professional development events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Must have strong computer skills, exceptional organization, and communication skills.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
