Field Application Engineer - DSP - Optical Communications - Bay Area or North Carolina
We have partnered with a fabless semiconductor startup that are industry leaders in developing cutting-edge digital signal processors as they look to bring on a dynamic Field Application Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to play an integral role in the future success of the organization and development of optical transceivers.
Role : Field Applications Engineer
Location : Bay Area or North Carolina
Salary : $200k - $250k plus great benefits
The skills needed for the FAE position include :
- Experienced actively working with customers to offer guidance, timely resolve issues and support through the pre and post sales process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Experienced with hardware interfaces, including I2C, SPI, JTAG.
- Sound technical skills, including hands-on experience with C coding, API integrator and Python, with the ability to test and debug.
- Ability to identify, select and implement advanced test and measurement equipment.
- Knowledge and expertise of digital signal processor fundamentals and how they work with optical communications modules would be highly advantageous.
