Respiratory Therapist Specialist 20P- Pediatric Transport- Shift Varies

Overview

This position represents scheduled weekend respiratory therapists specialized in providing critical care, emergency response, and critical care transport for adults.

Qualifications

Education required : High School diploma / GED

License, certification and / or registration : Must be licensed by the ASBRT. Must be registered by the NBRC. Certification of ACLS and BLS is preferred upon hire and / or mandatory within 90 days of hire or transfer.

Experience : Adult critical care experience with proficiency in providing emergency response, intubation, initiation / support of mechanical ventilation, and critical care transport is preferred upon hire and / or mandatory within one year.

Additional skills / abilities : Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
