Job Responsibilities

  • Initially the primary responsibility is to program the CNC routers and support job setups
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop new products systems or solutions.
  • Conduct research and collect data to support engineering projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical drawings specifications and reports.
  • Perform tests and analysis to evaluate the performance and reliability of engineering designs.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve existing processes.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of engineering processes and standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during production.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends new technologies and best practices.
  • Complete assigned tasks within established timelines and budgets.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC Gcode programming or must learn quickly / selfteach.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks CAM) for design and drafting.
  • Familiarity with engineering simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB ANSYS) for analysis and optimization.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written to convey complex technical information.
  • Detailoriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teambased environment as well as independently.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or :
  • 35 years of experience in an Engineering / Designer role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC concepts programming axis coordinate system tooling etc.
  • Familiarity with engineering software and tools specific to the industry or field of specialization.
  • Any additional certifications or training related to engineering will be a plus.
  • A strong academic record with a focus on engineering coursework.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Kanban and 5S
