Assistant Sales Manager - Pneumatic Industry

Overview :
A global leading manufacturer of advanced pneumatics equipment and parts is looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join their company.
The Assistant Sales Manager will play a key role in driving sales across various regions in the US and Canada. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing distributors, end-users, and OEMs, while also actively seeking out and acquiring new customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not Limited to :
- Manage and develop existing accounts in assigned territories, including MN, CO, CA, TX, NY, NJ, MA, FL, ON, and Canada.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the USA (excluding Midwest) and Canada.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular sales calls and visits to customers, building strong relationships and understanding their needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Actively seek feedback from customers to identify opportunities for improvement and product development.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
- Develop and execute sales plans to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and analyses.
- Utilize sales tools and CRM systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the Sales Planning and Direction Team to align sales activities with company goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and customer support.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pneumatics industry (or a related field such as hydraulics, mechanical engineering, or automation).
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (experience with CRM tools a plus).
- Ability to establish and execute sales strategies.
- Able to attend business trips (domestics mainly, potentially international)
