They are seeking a Project Controls Manager to work on an 18 month, $1B project in with continued opportunities at the conclusion of the project.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide direction in cost analysis and control, ensuring accurate and comprehensive cost estimates are developed and maintained.
- Develop, execute, and manage all aspects of a project control plan, including the resolution of challenges and contingencies.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, cost engineering, cost analysis, and control activities.
- Direct schedule development and maintenance, monitor and identify potential impacts, and develop recovery plans.
- Direct project and program cost forecasting and support organizational and administrative activities.
- Prepare, coordinate, and present updates to the management team and customer as required.
- Prepare the project control plan and lead project control activities such as planning, schedule development, change management, forecasting, cost, trends, and claims.
- Provide leadership and guidance for the analysis of cost and planning efforts and reports.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN THEIR TEAM
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience in directing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, control, and analysis, and planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of direct experience working with estimators, planners, and management teams.
- Advanced Primavera 6 (P6) experience.
- Skilled in oral and written communication, with a demonstrated ability to present Project Control's information to management / client.
- Demonstrated skill at identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.
- Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in the delivery, communication, and training of risk processes and procedures.
- Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning & cost engineering functions, including planning reports, cost control, and cost analysis.
- Knowledge of capital cost and project estimating.
- Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost problems.
- Effective communication, leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
This position requires onsite presence in Tennessee therefore the candidate must be willing to be onsite. As a result, the rates are very generous, and all expenses are covered.
