About the Job :

The property inspector is responsible for performing annual inspections for GRE's portfolio of buildings.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and schedule annual inspections with portfolio managers and tenants
• Keep digital records of all inspections
• Report results along with recommendations to portfolio managers on building enhancements necessary to improve the rentability of the property
• Replace batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
• Complete minor repairs
• Tidy up properties when on-site
• Train and mentor incoming property inspectors
• Provide recommendations to portfolio managers
• Meets with the team from time to time to collaborate on the overall happenings within the properties and to discuss suggested improvements to the company and program

Qualifications :

• 1-2 years of property management experience
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation, strong problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Drivers license and vehicle with valid insurance
