JOB SUMMARY

As a Consultant in our Organizational Effectiveness practice at Aspirant, you will serve as trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of business-related engagements around change management communications.

Planning, developing, and implementing communication strategies and key messages in support of our client’s change management initiatives.

Helping client stakeholders understand what is changing and why, and the effects of the change. You will manage communications, create consistent messages and training programs while troubleshooting problems and improving processes.

You will have the opportunity to be a hands-on leader, gathering and analyzing data, exploring innovative solutions, making actionable recommendations, and communicating with key stakeholders while ensuring that projects run seamlessly from start to finish.

In this role you will help lead and advise client engagements. This role provides an opportunity to broaden your leadership skills, work across a variety of industries, and exercise your entrepreneurial spirit to deliver superior results for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with project teams to develop stakeholder communications to gain their awareness, understanding and buy-in.
  • Develop and execute communication materials such as training, web content, SharePoint content, presentations, etc.
  • Participate directly in client engagements, providing expert insights and ensuring projects run seamlessly from start to finish.
  • Lead and facilitate client workshops and project meetings while providing a unique point of view.
  • Participate in proposal development and delivery to client organizations.
  • Lead well developed workstreams and small projects with confidence, deliver structure where there is ambiguity, resolve stakeholder resistance and risks, ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of work, and implement high value outcomes.
  • Collaborate with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client problems and deliver high impact projects.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
  • Present findings both internally at Aspirant and externally to clients that include data acquisition and insights.
  • Build rapport and nurture relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and propose new business opportunities.
  • Continually evolve and build a knowledge base (emergent trends, technologies, and approaches).

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in variety of disciplines to include Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness / Design.
  • Master’s / MBA degree preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience and knowledge of training and communication tools, such as SharePoint, online learning management systems and graphic design applications.
  • Proven expertise in creating organization-wide communications and communication strategies.
  • Expert writing, editing, verbal communications, and communication planning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting communications for a diverse set of clients.
  • Prior work experience from a variety of business projects such as business integration, organizational change, digital / brand marketing, new product launches, mergers & acquisitions, or system integrations.
  • Prior work experience from a variety of business projects.
  • Project delivery work experience supporting well-developed workstreams and small projects.
  • Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain, finance, operations, IT, HR, marketing, and sales.
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Expertise in multiple project management tools.
  • Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations and synthesize a path forward.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly at both line and senior management levels.
  • Ability to travel based on client requirements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 1 or more years’ relevant business consulting experience in a variety of industries.
  • Flexibility and confidence to contribute to any of Aspirant’s other practice areas including Strategy & Transformation, Technology Consulting, Digital Consulting, Marketing & Innovation, Mergers & Acquisitions and Sales.
  • Process improvement / Six Sigma / Lean Sigma experience.
