As a systems engineer on our team, you will assist with developing the overarching security strategy and apply to system sub-components.
You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s product concept to anticipate potential security risks, identify areas of weakness, and specify and plan for the security solutions needed to mitigate potential security vulnerabilities and threats.
You’ll maintain an awareness of advanced security te chn iques and te chn ologies to bring best of breed solutions to the client, apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge, and develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like signal processing, electronic warfare, machine learning, and artifi cia l intelligence.
You will grow your skills by merging Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Electronic Warfare to create documented requirements for future electronic warfare systems.

You Have :
2+ years of experience with security tools, hardware and sof tware security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption te chn iques or tools
2+ years of experience with system and hardware interfaces
2+ years of experience with the design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts, including Concepts of Operations ( CONOPs ) , requirements analysis, interface design, system architecture development, or system performance analysis
Experience with the practical application of Unified Modeling Language ( UML ) or Systems Modeling Language ( SysML )
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering
Nice If You Have :
2+ years of experience with Systems Engineering and Integration and MBSE
2+ years of experience with NIST, NIAP, FIPS 140-3, or Zero T rus t security requirements and implementations
Experience with modeling or requirements tools, including MagicDraw, Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody, or DOORS
Experience with Threat Modeling
Experience working with the DoD, tactical environments, LANs, and ground and aviation platforms
TS / SCI clearance
Clearance :
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;
Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
