ASRC FEDERAL (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a UX Web Developer Journeyman for our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
This is a REMOTE position with occasional travel to the client site required.
UX Web Developer Journeyman

Position Description : The UX Web Developer Journeyman will design and develop user-friendly web applications with a focus on enhancing user experience.
This role involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, as well as implementing these designs using front-end technologies.
The UX Web Developer Journeyman will work closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate with UX designers and developers to ensure design feasibility.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest UX / UI trends and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design
- Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe toolset and others
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
- Ability to support web application of any language to include. Netcore, Java Spring boot, Python
- Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages
- Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
- Experience creating storyboards and website mapping
- Clear and effective at communicating requests, changes and user feedback and requirements through documentation and other means
- Experience on an Agile team
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be a U.S citizen eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
