Responsibilities include :

Project ownership for 2-month client engagements

  • Conducting and synthesizing insights from interviews
  • Creating innovative meeting designs leveraging Exember knowledge base of 100+ meeting approaches and activities
  • Advising clients on change- and leadership-related topics
  • Facilitating 1-3-day meetings and off-sites for audiences ranging from 5 to 50+ people
  • Building and maintaining executive relationships, routinely engaging with P&L owner, VP+, and CHRO-level clients
  • Contributing to growth activities (building infrastructure, branding, writing, hiring, culture, codifying best practices) with firm partners

Qualifications :

We seek a partner-in-the-making, targeting a unique combination of skills. A qualified candidate will exhibit some (but not necessarily all) of the following :

  • Experience delivering consulting (or consulting-like) engagements
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage competing demands from customers
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup (or startup-like) environment
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and organizational challenges
  • Deep curiosity around human issues and their impact on business performance
  • Experience designing and / or facilitating meetings for teams going through strategic change (new product launch, new leader administration, new strategy, turnaround)
  • Compelling written, presentation and storytelling skills
  • Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to educate and influence others
  • Proven ability to interact and communicate with VP+ clients at Fortune 500 companies
  • Ability to travel up to but no more than 20% of the year
  • 3+ years experience in consulting or client-facing positions
  • MBA or other graduate degree preferred (but not required)
  • Most likely, located or willing to locate in the San Francisco Bay Area
