Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Marketing Communications Manager to lead our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrated marketing communications, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

This role will oversee all marketing communications activities, ensuring alignment with our brand and business objectives.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Strategy Development :

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communications strategies that align with company goals and objectives.

Identify target audiences and craft communication plans that effectively reach and engage them.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and keep the company at the forefront of the market.

Content and Campaign Management :

Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.

Manage and execute integrated marketing campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice.

Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver impactful marketing materials and campaigns.

Team Leadership :

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing communications professionals.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging creativity and professional growth.

Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

Public Relations :

Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners.

Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.

Manage crisis communication efforts and act as the company spokesperson when necessary.

Digital Marketing and Analytics :

Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and website management.

Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Ensure all marketing communications are data-driven and result-oriented.

Brand Management :

Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.

Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure compliance across the organization.

Budget Management :

Develop and manage the marketing communications budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Monitor expenditures and ROI, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.

Qualifications

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

5+ years of experience in marketing communications or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.

Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.

g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media management tools).Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing software.

Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in packaging or wholesale business.Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).Familiarity with video production and editing.

Certification in marketing (e.g., AMA Professional Certified Marketer).

Working Conditions

This position is on-site and based at BOX Partners corporate office in Elgin IL.
