We’re looking to hire a Content Librarian, Digital Asset Management (DAM) for a streaming media client. The Content Librarian will ensure the DAMsystem is well-organized, optimized, and maintained to support the client’s creative teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

This is a 12-month project opportunity working remotely. Must be located in the continental U.S.

Pay rate : $33-37 / hr DOE

Content Librarian, DAM Responsibilities :
- Manage DAM System Configuration : Update and maintain settings for user accounts, metadata properties, guidelines, homepages, and workflows.
- Audit and Optimize Assets : Conduct regular audits of digital asset uploads and metadata to ensure they are high-quality, searchable, and have the appropriate information.
- Monitor and Address Feedback : Triage internal customer feedback and communicate with external vendors to ensure continuous improvement and optimal performance of the DAM system.
- Facilitate Training and Support : Lead training sessions and provide ongoing support for internal customers to ensure the DAM system is used correctly and efficiently.
- Ensure System Scalability : Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system improvements, ensuring our digital assets can scale with the client’s growth
Content Librarian, DAM Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience working with DAM platforms (i.e. Bynder or similar), CMS, or related systems.
- Strong understanding of taxonomy, metadata tagging, asset organization, and DAM best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, paying close attention to detail while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to provide clear guidance and training to internal teams and work effectively with external vendors.
- Familiarity with DAM platforms and basic technical knowledge, including metadata and CMS, is essential.
- Must be able to attend morning meetings scheduled based on Eastern Time zone.
- A Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree is required.
