About our Team
The Sales Manager for ITS America Events and Data Universe will be joining a highly experienced team, with deep knowledge of trade show management and experience.
This positions really encompasses everything involving sales including managing a limited, but highly valuable customer base and overseeing a team, working to achieve and exceed event targets.
You will be immersed in developing Sales strategies that align with the event goals, developing growth opportunities and responsible for tracking progress to budget.
About the Role
We are looking for a unique individual who is skilled in sales and sales management. This role requires the ability to learn / understand complex yet intriguing industries.
Keys to success lie in having consultative sales conversations with customers. In this role you will create and implement strategies, monitor / track progress and coach / empower a sales team.
Responsibilities
Working with your sales teams to develop individual selling strategies. These are designed to generate pipelines of prospects and ultimately drive sales of booth and media sales.
Coaching and empowering sales teams to enhance our consultative sales approach via training and role plays
Driving media sales by working closely with Sponsorship Manager
Providing regular reporting and / or forecasting to Portfolio Sales Director, Event Director and Senior Leadership team
Developing a strategy to increase International sales by working closely with Event Director, Portfolio Sales Director and our International Sales Group
Monitoring sales team productivity and implementing best practices. This will include inputting accurate and complete data, managing territory, daily output goals, weekly strike rates, assigned budgets, etc.
Monitoring industry trends and competitive environment to make recommendations regarding sales strategy
Requirements

Have outstanding team leadership skills and the ability to manage to tight deadlines
