Joinour team as a FullTime School Social Worker providing essentialsupport to elementary school students in Palm Bay FL.
In this roleyoull work closely with students families and educators to addresssocial emotional and behavioral challenges ensuring a positive andsupportive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will includeindividual and group counseling crisis intervention and thedevelopment of programs to enhance student wellbeing andsuccess.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Provideindividual and group counseling forstudents.
- Collaboratewith teachers administrators and parents to support studentsuccess.
- Developand implement programs to address social and emotionalneeds.
- Conductassessments and create interventionplans.
- Offercrisis intervention and support duringemergencies.
- Connectfamilies with communityresources.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work or relatedfield.
- ValidFlorida license in social work (LCSWpreferred).
- SocialWork Certification from the Florida Department of Education
- Experienceworking with elementaryagedchildren.
- Abilityto work collaboratively in a teamenvironment.
