Schedule :

Monday Friday 9 hours between 6 : 30am and 5 : 30pm with aonehour lunch

No Weekends or Holidays

Job SpecificResponsibilities and Tasks : Duties may include butare not limited to :

Initiate perform andcomplete assigned duties in providing care to variable patientpopulation

Complete assigned patient care based on thepatients conditions use judgment in selecting the appropriate orderand sequence of procedures and treatments and accurately recognizereport and record relevant patient information.

Observeidentify and respond to the patients needs for care includingmedication equipmentassisted care and patient / familyeducation.

Prepare and administer prescribed medications(oral topical subcutaneous intramuscular and / or intravenous) andperform treatments according to establishedpolicies / procedures.

Recognize urgent or emergent patientcare situations seek assistance of the RN and / or MD / DO and initiateappropriate emergency interventions as directed

Performsupport duties for complex diagnostic tests and / or specializedpractices or procedures which include preparing the patientassisting in the diagnostic examination preparing and handlingspecialized instruments or other specialized equipment andmonitoring the patients condition before during and following theprocedure.

Orient peers and ancillary personnel to unitpolicies and procedures skills and standards of practice.

Integrate healthy work environment principles that result inimproved patient healthcare delivery education of patients andtheir families and employee satisfaction

MinimumQualifications :

• Education : Graduate from an accredited communitycollege junior college college university or vocational nursingprogram approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited bythe Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) or anotheracceptable accreditation body outlined in the TO.
• Experience : Minimum 1 yearsexperience as LVN / LPN after graduation
• Licensure : Current full active and unrestrictedlicense to practice as a LVN / LPN from anystate.
• Life SupportCertification : Possess a current AHA OR ARC BLSHealthcare Provider certification.
• Security : Must possess ability to pass a Governmentbackground check / security clearance.

Pay Scale : $24.69 / hr$28 / hr to be determinedbased on qualifications experience andlocation.
