Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Data Modeler to work on a 12+ month contract position in Smithfield, RI.
The pay rate is in the $60 to $64 / hour range. This position is available for w-2 only. It is a hybrid role, with onsite work required every other week.
Candidates local to the Metro Providence, RI, area are highly preferred. No travel is required.

Responsibilities of the Senior Data Modeler :
- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to design and build scalable data models.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Analyze business requirements to ensure data models meet performance and reporting needs.
- Coach and mentor a team of data modelers to ensure adherence to standards.
- Work closely with the business to build flexible models that enhance product offerings and time to market.
Requirements for the Senior Data Modeler :
- Strong experience with data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3NF, Dimensional).
- Ability to work with data modeling tools like Powerdesigner, Oracle Designer, or Erwin.
- Solid SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
- Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain data structures to non-technical audiences.
