  • Has the ability to operate equipment such as; forklifts, scales, calipers, cutters, grinders, presses, and various small hand tools, etc.

As a Manufacturing Operatorin Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in theFuel Business Unit. Your work will include :

  • Operates production equipment
  • Responsible for manufacturing and assembly of nuclear products.
  • In the ceramics product center powder is pressed, sintered, and ground to fabricate fuel pellets.
  • The candidate will learn all aspects of fabrication in the area.
  • May be required to work around chemicals and radioactive materials and must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • May follow drawings, guidelines, and / or procedures to ensure product specifications and tolerance are met.
  • Be competent to perform tasks that may impact on health and safety in the workplace.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations.

This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug / alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The starting pay rate for this position is $23.50 per hour and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits.

Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
