Job Title : AP Specialist
Location : Irving, TX
This role is 100% in office no remote work available.
Pay : $22-$23 / hr. (Based on experience)
Schedule : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm Monday - Friday
Job Summary :
The Accounts Payable Specialist takes the lead in managing payments of goods and services to vendors by matching purchase orders, gathering charge slips, sales tickets, receivers, etc.
and preparing invoices for payment with proper cost center and GL coding. This position will also provide accounting support through account reconciliation, accruals, reports, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage Vendor Relations : Maintain and update vendor information in the AX system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Process Invoices : Review, match, and post invoices for timely payments, handling both standard vendor and intercompany transactions.
Handle Recurring Payments : Create and manage purchase orders for utilities, rent, and other ongoing expenses.
Resolve Discrepancies : Investigate and correct any issues with vendor invoices to ensure smooth processing.
Support Accounting Operations : Prepare month-end accruals, maintain financial reports, and assist with various accounting projects.

Detail-Oriented Professional : Strong ability to manage high-volume invoices with precision.
Effective Communicator : Proficiency in interacting with vendors and team members via email, phone, and in person.
Tech-Savvy : Skilled in MS Word, MS Outlook, Excel, and ideally, Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Team Player : Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications :
Previous experience in accounting or finance, particularly in accounts payable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX
A Bachelor s degree in accounting is preferred, though relevant experience and education will be considered .
Eagerness to acquire new skills and adapt to changing needs.
Reliable Attendance : Must have reliable attendance with minimal plans for time off through January
