As a Sr. Associate, Employee Relations, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships between employees & the workplace.

This includes being responsible for understanding employee issues, promoting a healthy work environment, & ensuring compliance with company policies & regulations.

In collaboration with HR, Legal, & Labor Relations partners, you will drive change & champion fair, consistent, timely, & thorough investigations, promoting the highest level of respect while delivering on investigation protocols with accurate documentation.

You will navigate sensitive concerns & accommodation requests by providing insightful recommendations & advocating for a positive employee experience through the lens of equitable & consistent policies.

Through proactive coaching, education, & onsite presence, you will help prevent issues & nurture a culture where employees can perform at their best.

You will :

  • Address employee concerns & complaints in a timely & confidential manner;
  • Conduct investigations into employee grievances, conflicts, & possible disciplinary issues;
  • Provide guidance & support to managers & employees on HR policies, procedures, & best practices;
  • Assist in the development & implementation of employee relations programs & initiatives to enhance employee engagement & retention;
  • Engage in the interactive process to determine eligibility of employee accommodations through review of documentation, consultation with department managers, employees, Legal, & other stakeholders to determine whether requests fall under our accommodations policies & how we consistently enable employees to perform the essential functions of their jobs;
  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws & regulations to ensure compliance & mitigate risks;
  • Maintain accurate records & documentation related to employee relations matters under the direction of Legal Counsel;
  • Support HR projects & initiatives as needed.

You have :

  • Bachelors of Nursing, Paralegal Degree or Certification, or 2+ years of relevant healthcare and / or legal experience;
  • Understanding of employment law implications on ADA and / or HR compliance issues;
  • Experience with synthesizing healthcare-related laws into digestible information suing the highest levels of integrity & discretion;
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
  • Experience handling multiple & complex projects simultaneously, & working in an environment that requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service skills, & organization;
  • Track record of strong collaboration skills, & highly trusted.
