About thisrole :

Wells Fargo is seeking aForward Hire Associate Branch Manager (SAFE) for National BranchNetwork as part of the Consumer Small and Business Bankingdivision.

The Associate Branch Manager Forward Hire is designed toprovide a consistent and positive customer and employee experienceacross a specific geography.

Throughout your time as a Forward HireAssociate Branch Manager you will increase the depth and breadth ofyour experience leading and managing teams by supporting multiplebranch locations in the district.

Based on business needs and asopportunities arise the Forward Hire Associate Branch Manager(SAFE) employee will transition to either Associate Branch Manageror Branch Manager (SAFE) within the geography.

Once moved into one these roles you would beresponsible for leading managing and developing a diverse team ofhighperforming direct or indirect reports creating a culture thatfosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability tobusiness outcomes.

Successful Branch Managers are able to lead ahighly defined customer engagement process coaching to specificbehaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drivegrowth of the business while also leading accountability foroperational excellence.

This involves executing policies andprocedures in alignment with applicable regulations as well asaudit and escalation procedures and managing the allocation ofpeople and financial resources for thebranch.

In this role youwill :

  • Be flexible and adaptableto changing priorities deadlines and new surroundings while meetingcustomers needs.
  • Coach develop and build a highperforming team to execute on business strategies achieve resultsand drive growth of the business;

This includes coaching bankers toengage customers to understand their needs and work proactively tobuild relationships and help customers succeedfinancially

  • Resolve tactical issues regardingthe customer and employee experience risk and growth of thebusiness to meet Branch Network businessobjectives
  • Identify opportunities for makingbanking easier for customers through education and demonstration ofavailable digital options to support adoption and customerconvenience
  • Lead the branch while engagingstakeholders peers and internal partners in collaborating andbuilding strong partnerships to deliver a customercentricexperience
  • Meet customer needs by assistingwith transactions as needed; serve as a role model by delivering anexceptional customer experience and focusing on buildingrelationships
  • Responsible for selectionevaluation and development of staff
  • This SAFEposition has customer contact and job duties which may include theoffering / negotiating of terms and / or taking an application for adwelling secured transaction.

As such this position requirescompliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and allrelated regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meetingall such requirements including acceptable background investigationresults.

Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the LoanOriginator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the jobexpectations below

RequiredQualifications :

  • 2 years ofbanking financial services or Branch Network experience orequivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of thefollowing : work experience training military experienceeducation
  • 1 years of leadershipexperience

DesiredQualifications :

  • 4 years ofBanking financial services or Branch Network experience orequivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of thefollowing : work experience training military experience and / oreducation
  • 2 years of leadershipexperience
  • Leadership experience includingcoaching training developing inspiring and building a highperforming team where adaptability collaboration and accountabilityto performance are critical to success
  • Abilityto analyze performance understand strengths and opportunities andexecute a plan that empowers employees to achieve businessobjectives
  • Exercise independent judgement andcritical thinking skills to manage time prioritize and delegatetasks in a complex fastpacedenvironment
  • Extensive experience in askingquestions and identifying complex financial needs in order toprovide relevant options tocustomers
  • Experience and knowledge in coachingacross customer segments including affluent high net worth andsmall business
  • Experience building andmaintaining effective relationships with customers internalpartners and within the community
  • Knowledge andunderstanding of banking industry laws and regulations compliancecontrols risk management and lossprevention
  • Ability to interact with integrityand professionalism with customers andemployees
  • Ability to lead a team to influenceeducate and connect customers to technology and share the value ofdigital banking
  • Relevant military experienceincluding working with military protocol and instructions enlistedevaluations officer / leadership reporting or military experienceworking in personnel benefits management processing militarypersonnel orders or transitions wartime readiness operations humanresources or militaryrecruiting

JobExpectations :

  • This position maypotentially rove between branches in a specific geography toprovide leadership support for locations where a branch manager isout of the office or to temporarily cover vacancies until you areassigned to a branch.
  • In this role the ForwardHire Associate Branch Manager will be expected to commute to theassigned location(s) for the duration of the branch assignment(reimbursement for mileage and / or public transportation isprovided).
  • Ability to work a schedule that mayinclude most Saturdays
  • This position requiresSAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo willinitiate the SAFE registration process immediately after youremployment start date.

The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System(NMLS) website ( ) provides the MU4R questions and registrationrequired for employment in this position.

Individuals in LoanOriginator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer FinancialProtection Bureau qualification requirements and comply withrelated Wells Fargo policies.

The LO qualification requirementsinclude meeting applicable financial responsibility charactergeneral financial fitness and criminal background standards.

Acurrent credit report will be used to assess your financialresponsibility and credit fitness however a credit score is notincluded as part of the evaluation.

Successful candidates must alsomeet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screeningif necessary
