As an Investment Counselor you will be provided with aroster of highnetworth clients to provide our client s specializedapproach focusing on their private clients and use your financialexperience to better the established investmentspace.
ABOUT THEROLE
- Becomethe voice of our client and partner with the firm s internalportfolio decisionmakers auxiliary research teams client serviceassociates and renowned sales team to give their clients the bestservice possible while making sure the compensation structurealigns with their clients bestinterests
- Obtainan elevated finance and capital markets education to understand ourclient s unique market approach by reporting to your group managerwho will assist you in navigating client relationships and providepersonalized careerdevelopment
- Buildtrusting relationships with highnetworth clientele and educate themon our client s topdown portfolio strategy investments andimportant marketevents
- Connectproactively with clients on a quarterly basis to review assetallocation and ensure they are on the path towards longtermfinancialgoals
- Relyon an established sales team to gradually build your roster ofhighnetworth clients within the first year; you are given a book of150 to 200 households with a net worth of $100 million to $150million in assets under management of highnetworth clients withassets more than $500k per household meant to manage clientrelationships and discuss portfolios and investments withthem
Requirements
- 2or more years of client relationship management within thefinancialindustry
- CurrentInvestment Advisor Representative designation OR Series 65 OR acombination of FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 OR qualifying financialprofessional designations or equivalents the firm will also assistyou in obtaining the Series 65 within 60 days of startdate
- Bachelors degree in finance or related fields or equivalent workexperience
- Extensivemarket knowledge with experience in the client focusedconsultativeapproach
Benefits
- $75000to $125000 base salary with discretionary bonuses per year newhires should expect to start at the lower end of the compensationrange depending on experience which is around $75000 to $85000 basesalary with $5000 to $7000 quarterly bonus or a range of$20000$30000 all in by end ofyear

5 to 7 years or more of selling to stock market investors withinthe financial industry Current Investment Advisor Representativedesignation, OR Series 65, OR a combination of FINRA Series 7 andSeries 66, OR qualifying financial professional designations orequivalents Extensive experience with bringing in new investorbusiness, high-volume phone activity, and in-person meetings,working as an investment advisor or external wholesaler with astrong track record of success in sales and bringing in newinvestment assets Record of six-figure earnings in each of the past3 years (pay for production compensation model)
