Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Senior Electrical Designer to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects for our Woodland Hills office.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in the design and drafting of power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for federal / DOD, commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, multi-family, and / or high-rise facilities.
Compensation and Benefits :
- Approximate Base Salary $90k to $105k based on experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company / team / personal performance.
- Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution
Qualifications
- Technical / Associate degree in engineering or related science (preferred)
- 7+ years of design and drafting experience
- Graduation from a certified CAD training program at an accredited institution counts as one year of experience
- Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Possess advanced drafting, BIM / Revit and layout skills
- Create REVIT families and AutoCAD blocks
- Experienced with the latest release of Autodesk AutoCAD and REVIT
- Performing design work without supervision.
- Knowledgeable with electrical calculations.
- Knowledgeable with Tile-24 calculations.
- Experienced in training entry level designers.
