Description
Lead the Investments team in providing underwriting and other support for key elements of the value creation process, including business case development, financial modeling, and approvals for the following : Site acquisitions, site development and capital expenditures, leasing activity for new developments, other new business analysis
Prepare materials and coordinate approvals for bi-weekly capital, deal and investment committees.
Responsible for oversight of investment and underwriting workstreams across the US, Europe, and Asia.
Work with the senior management team to develop and execute underwriting guidelines and assumptions and policies aligned with business objectives and risk appetite across the business’s various regions
Monitor the performance of the development portfolio, including comparison to underwriting and portfolio performance to identify opportunities for improvements and to identify project risk
Lead Investments team in supporting capital recycling initiatives
Assist with the evaluation of M&A opportunities
Identify automation opportunities to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve accuracy / decrease risk of errors, assisting with planning and implementation as appropriate
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the investments team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Set clear performance expectations, establish goals and objectives and monitor team performance against key metrics and benchmarks
Communicate key messages and provide updates to senior management team and sponsors; respond to ad hoc requests

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Substantial knowledge and experience in developing and implementing underwriting best practices and procedures
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency
Ability to effectively collaborate, work in a decentralized environment and influence people under direct supervision and not under direct supervision.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Experience with Yardi, SalesForce, and / or OneStream software is a plus
Experience / Skills : Minimum of 12+ years of experience in corporate finance and investments with a focus on commercial real estate, real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investments.
Knowledge of the data center and / or real estate industry is a plus.
Education : BS Degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
Certifications : MBA / CPA / CFA is a plus.
