The process clerk ensures customer orders are properly filled and processed. They are responsible for following orders through completion for delivery, pick-ups, and / or shipments.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Ensure the customer orders are properly filled out and completed.
- Handles time sensitive and confidential documentation.
- Issue and control keys used by employees.
- Ability to understand and pin all core code formats for VSR products.
- Distribute pin orders to hand pinners and / or Maromatic operators.
- Follow up with hand pinners and quality control regarding the status of orders to ensure they are being processed in a timely manner.
- Organize and prioritize the work order schedule to ensure the orders are shipped on time.
- Verify and complete paperwork for key destruction.
- Communicate with quality control on orders scheduled to ship for the day / week.

- Perform key audits on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform quality checks on a variety of locks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a clean and verifiable backgound and credit checks.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2-3 years related inventory control experience and / or training.
- Computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and database applications.
- Ability to read and process work orders for production.
- Willingness to receive on-the-job training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work involves walking, talking, hearing, and using material handling equipment.
- Vision abilities requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth
- Required to lift, push, pull, and / or carry up to 50 lbs. continually.
- May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment.
