We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Support Outreach Coordinator to lead our outreach efforts and support our mission of improving community health.

Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of integrated health care services. Since 1973, Chestnut has grown to almost 800 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Illinois and Missouri.
We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers.

Responsibilities Supervise the recovery support outreach team in St. Clair and Madison Counties. Develop and maintain relationships with organizations to improve care and address service gaps.
Coordinate, plan, and evaluate services in compliance with contracts, grants, and agency policies. Monitor participant progress, conduct outreach, and advocate for improvements.
Actively promote programs, maintain referral sources, and establish new partnerships. Provide community education and training on recovery support and related services.
Document and maintain data for agency and funding requirements. Stay current on evidence-based practices. Lead or participate in assigned committees and subcommittees.
Support professional development through training activities and Relias, coordinating training for recovery staff.Qualifications One of the following combinations : High school diploma / equivalent and 5 years of clinical or peer experienceOR Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) or Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) and 2 years of clinical or peer experienceOR Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of clinical or peer experience Must obtain CPRS or CRSS within 1 year of hire Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and be insurable Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
Preferred Qualifications Crisis intervention training Supervisory experience, CADC, CPRS, or CRSS certification. Additional preferences for certifications in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Whole Health Action Management (WHAM), SMART Recovery, and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).
