Collections Specialist

Kelly is hiring for a long-term Collections Specialist in Redondo Beach , CA. This position will require to work in the office 5 days a week and comes with PTO and premium medical benefit options.

In this roll you will perform day-to-day collections activities in the Payments and Billing team. You will have deep experience in performing effective collections practices that meet the business goals while treating customers with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities :

• Contact customer with overdue accounts and attempt to collect or negotiate a payment plan.
• Maintain records of attempted and successful contacts and record successful payments.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
• Process requests from other parts of the business for billing, credits and refunds.
• Submit repossession requests per processes and policies.
• Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid account of higher priority.
• Provide feedback to enhance and improve processes and policies.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with Ford Drive stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience in a B2C collections role
• High school degree
• Can work 9 : 00-5 : 00 , Monday-Friday
• Pay $27.00

Preferred requirements :

The ideal candidate is someone with a hybrid background including some blend of startups, private companies, and / or large multinational companies.

• Patience and resilience in the face of customer reactions and lack of response
• Excellent listening skills
• Clean and concise verbal and writing skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Basic computer skills including Excel, payment processing software, messaging
• Previous experience in a new, ambiguous, fast-paced environment
