Summary of Responsibilities : The Quality Control Specialist will report directly to the General Superintendent and will be responsible for the implementation and management of the company’s Quality Control Program.
This role involves providing guidance, leadership, and coordination in all areas of project quality. Please note that the position requires 50-55% travel.
Key Responsibilities :
- Uphold and represent company values and ethics, maintaining a high degree of integrity and loyalty to the company and clients.
- Develop project-specific quality controls and metrics, owning the quality control management program.
- Regularly create Quality Control Management (QCM) reports for the Project Management Teams and General Superintendent to ensure quality control metrics are met.
- Communicate project issues regarding quality and progress to the General Superintendent and company executives.
- Establish effective working relationships with Superintendents, Project Management Teams, Executives, and Clients.
- Implement and oversee the training of Superintendents on the company’s Quality Control Program.
Qualifications :
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in quality control within the commercial construction industry is preferred.
