Position Responsibilities

• Work with a team of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPFP) BIM Coordination professionals, Architects, and Structural Engineers to provide our Field Teams with a constructable, coordinated contract compliant installation model and documents
• Audit and review 3D models from Architects and General Contractors in Autodesk Revit and Navis manager
• Qualify accuracy of 3D models and contract documents
• Manage, schedule, and facilitate BIM kickoff and weekly coordination meetings with all trade partners
• Receive trade partner models, build composite models, and run clash detection as well as sort, group, and generate clash report
• Host weekly coordination meetings and collaborate with trade partners for efficient resolution of clashes and constructability challenges
• Document the coordination process from inception to completion of the built model.
• Prepare composite drawings or contract deliverable requirements on behalf of the team to the customer

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM360 Coordinate
• Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), Bluebeam, and Fieldwire
• Familiarity with scheduling software
• 3+ years of experience with installation of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems
• 3+ years of proven BIM facilitation background
• Experience managing a small team is a plus
• Associate’s Degree in Construction Management is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to generate creative solutions
• Ability and willingness to mentor and train other VDC and Engineering team members
• Enforce Virtual Design and Construction standards
