Palm Shore is now hiring for an experienced Mental Health Tech for 2nd shift working every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (3pm- : pm).
Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provides quality mental health care and education services for adolescents, ages who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges.
The dedicated professionals at Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children.
The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home. Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is a proud provider for the Patriot Support Program.

The Mental Health Tech provides direct patient care duties, including group treatment and other aspects of their treatment of psychiatric disorders, behavioral health disorders or related disorders;
to ensure the safety and well-being of these patients; to support the maintenance of therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements : High School Diploma / GED or Equivalent
Preferred : Bachelors Degree in Human Service Field
Experience : 1 year minimum
Background : Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and Pre-employment Drug Test.
Skills / Other : Must be able to set and maintain therapeutic distance with clients; maintain therapeutic boundaries during treatment and following discharge.
Must be able to read, understand, and follow : policies, procedures, and written treatment plans. Successful completion of CPR Certification and successful completion of Handle with Care prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 7 days of employment.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
