Description & Requirements The Senior Analyst - Systems Analysis position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating business requirements, consulting with personnel from various departments and identifying areas for the development of technical solutions to automate and / or improve business processes.

The position works independently with limited supervision along with acting as a lead for other system analysts as needed.

The position will exhibit strong communication and technical skills to support stakeholders and project clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Serve as primary point of contact with MAXIMUS project staff and / or clients to define the business and technical requirements of assigned projects.

  • Act as primary liaison between project business staff and technical staff. - Responsible for gaining a detailed understanding of components of the business and translating that knowledge into the requirements for systems or processes.
  • May lead area of requirements development including work plan development and task, timeline and resource management. - Define and document data file extracts, automated process flows and report structure, image and content to support application development, enhancement and maintenance.
  • Design, document and produce ad hoc reports for supported projects that tabulate, summarize and report data to support project activities.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to application efficiency and reliability. - Test application processes and participates in design and code walkthroughs.
  • Audit, evaluate, track and report implementation and activity of project applications for QA / QC compliance. - Assist with system support activities to address requested changes and enhancements.

Program Specific Responsibilities : - Translates business requirements and objectives into system level requirements for use by development and testing teams.

  • Performs data analysis and documentation of system processes, and data flows. - Communicates with stakeholders, clients, external vendors and software development team members to build dynamic solutions that meet the business needs of our various clients.
  • Facilitates and leads collaborative meetings as needed for successful implementation of complex project goals. - Performs trouble shooting on production issues, infrastructure configurations and user related defects, that arise on a day-to-day basis to support the business.
  • Acts as a resource for completing system configurations such as permissions, security and rules. - Works on task-related assignments that are complex and far-reaching.
  • Works independently with limited supervision and may delegate and review the work product of junior analysts. - Become a subject matter expert in MAXIMUS product offerings.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and writing skills to communicate information effectively to multiple levels. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in related field. - 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required. - Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Required Skills : - Proficient knowledge and practical use of relational databases and data modelling concepts. - Proficient use of Agile processes to decompose epics into features and add detailed acceptance criteria in the user stories.

  • Proficient in building Product Roadmaps and User Journeys. - Proficient with document management systems such as OnBase and Adobe Sign.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills - Experience with process modeling tools such as Lucid Chart, Camunda, Drools.
  • Experience with integration analysis tools such as Apigee, Tanzu, Postman. - Experience with ETL and data integration tools such as Talend and Informatica.
  • Experience with the technical aspects of API, Java Messaging Services (JMS) and Decision Modeling Notation (DMN). - Experience with file transfer tools such as Axway.
  • Familiarity with telephony systems such as Genesys. - Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Preferred Certifications : Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect or other relevant industry standard certifications aligned to the role of a Senior Analyst are considered a plus.

Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.

Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position $ 66,900.00 Annual Base Pay Maximum for this Position $ 124,440.00 *
