Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Permanent Vice-President of Operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our operational activities.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of our services while driving efficiency and productivity.
This position requires a deep understanding of Acquisition Regulations and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
2. Develop and implement operational strategies and objectives to ensure the organization meets its goals.
3. Drive the development and implementation of key performance goals for each department.
4. Lead the development and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and stakeholders.
5. Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
6. Implement strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
7. Review financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity, goal achievement, and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
8. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in an operational role.
3. Proven track record of effectively leading an operation comprising a variety of departments, including a strong understanding of Acquisition Regulations.
4. Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing human resources, information technology, and legal.
5. Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
6. Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
7. Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of the company.
8. Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
9. Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
