Job Description
The Economics Department at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University seeks a part-time faculty to teach ECN Intermediate Macroeconomics to undergraduate majors through SU Continuing Education during Summer Session II.
This position is anticipated to be filled on a fully remote basis. Not all geographical areas within the United States are eligible.

A in Economics with excellent teaching experience of economic courses at the undergraduate level and strong class evaluations.
Job Specific Qualifications Responsibilities
- Developing and / or updating class syllabus
- Ordering the appropriate books and materials in advance of the start of class date
- Preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course
- Meeting all designated class periods
- Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
