The Shop Maintenance / Lot Porter assists both the Service Department in maintaining the Service drive and service parking lots, and in transporting vehicles to appropriate departments for service and inventory control.
Job Responsibilities :
- Maintains cleanliness of the Service department
- Assist Service department in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations
- May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles, as needed
- Wash Service customer vehicles, as needed
- Keeping Service department and shop cleaned
- Operating floor machine
- Sweeping throughout the Service drive and shop
- Throwing out trash & unused tires
- Keeping all benches and tool boxes clean
- Making sure shop is neat for next business day
Requirements :
- Require strong verbal and written communications skills
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Must consent to and pass a drug / background screen
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm, strong communication skills, positive attitude, ambition, work ethic, professional conduct, high integrity, and dedication to personal improvement
- Customer focused
- Energetic
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work evenings until 9 : 00 PM
- Ability to work weekends as business needs dictate
