About the Firm

We are honored to be one of the largest employment law firms in the field of sexual harassment and discrimination in the New York Metropolitan tristate area.

We are currently representing victims of discrimination in New York, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida.

We have over thirty employment discrimination attorneys who are adept to handle high profile sexual harassment cases as well as all types of sexual assault, discrimination and wage & hour cases.

Job Summary

As the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, and staff members, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive image of the firm.

This position requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities :

  • Greeting and welcoming clients, visitors, and staff members in a warm and professional manner
  • Answering phone calls, screening, and transferring calls to appropriate individuals within the firm
  • Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and courier deliveries
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings
  • Maintaining the reception area's cleanliness and ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
  • Collaborating with other administrative staff to ensure seamless operations and support for attorneys.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards and ethics.
  • Assisting with other general office duties and projects as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role
  • Excelling verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and courteous demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and law firm operations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
