Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

We are seeking qualified candidates for our Partial Hospitalization Program Driver - Part Time position. The selected candidate will provide safe, efficient transportation services to patients and visitors under the department of Patient Transportation.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Safely and timely transport patients or visitors to and from specified locations
• Conduct safety inspections of company vehicles prior to and after any transportations
• Address vehicle maintenance and repair needs in accordance with established procedures
• Oversee the safe storage and transport of patient medications
• Run errands, pick up supplies and make deliveries as requested
• Maintain transportation logbook and other documentation associated with services provided
• Identify, document, and report any and all instances of adult or child abuse and neglect to the appropriate parties including a member of management, the police, and state agencies

Qualifications

Minimum :

• High School Diploma, GED and / or equivalent combination education and experience
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record

Preferred :

• 1 year of experience with de-escilation techniques and behavior management of children, adults, and adolescents
• Experience providing patient transport or in a related role

Shift :

Day Shift (Some early morning / evening shifts as needed)

• UHS benefits are available to employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week. Coverage is effective on day 31 of employment.

Eligibility for employees who are scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week varies by location.
