Stress Analyst - Aerospace

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aerospace Stress Analyst to join their team in New Orleans, LA. The Aerospace Stress Analyst will be responsible for performing detailed stress analysis on aerospace components and systems.
This role involves using advanced analytical techniques and software to ensure the structural integrity and performance of their products.
Pay : $80,000-$110,000 / yr. Key Responsibilities : Stress Analysis : Conduct static, dynamic, and fatigue stress analysis on aerospace components and systems.
Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to model and analyze structures. Perform hand calculations to validate FEA results.
Design Support : Collaborate with design engineers to optimize designs for structural integrity and performance. Provide recommendations for material selection and structural modifications.
Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications. Documentation and Reporting : Prepare detailed stress analysis reports and documentation.
Present findings and recommendations to engineering teams and management. Maintain accurate records of analysis and testing results.
Testing and Validation : Develop and oversee structural testing plans and procedures. Analyze test data and correlate with analytical models.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in stress analysis, preferably in aerospace industry Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or similar.
Strong knowledge of materials science and structural mechanics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and technical writing skills. Experience with industry standards and certification processes (e.g., FAA, NASA) is a plus 360 Talent Avenue is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
