Clerical / Administrative Support

Work Schedule : 20 hours Mon-Wed starting at 8 : 30 am, working no later than 5 : 00 pm. No weekends!

First point of contact for General Surgery,Surgical Oncology and Pediatric Surgery. This position is for an Administrative Specialist to work in our busy Surgical Specialty group 20 hours per week.

We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, a high level of empathy and the ability to work independently to support our clinical care teams and patients.

Responsibilities include :

  • Answeringphones
  • Processing Referrals
  • Scheduling
  • Preparing new patient charts for their primary surgical consult.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education : High School diploma or GED preferred.

2. License / Certifications : N / A

3. Experience : Three years of experience in an administrative support role required.

4. Additional Skills / Requirements Required : Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

5. Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : N / A
