JOB OVERVIEW

The Aircraft Parts Sales Manager plays a crucial role in Vision Aero by overseeing our sales team and managing the sales of aircraft parts to various customers, including airlines, maintenance facilities, and other aviation stakeholders.

This role requires a deep understanding of aircraft components, strong interpersonal skills, and a strategic approach to sales and customer relationship management.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Sales Strategy and Planning :
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify potential markets, customers, and business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales goals with the overall business objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new potential customers.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, providing them with expert advice and solutions related to aircraft parts.
  • Regularly communicate with customers to provide updates on products, availability, and any relevant industry changes.
  • Product Knowledge :
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of various aircraft parts, their functionalities, compatibility, and applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes to effectively educate customers.
  • Quoting and Proposal Preparation :
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers based on their specific requirements.
  • Create compelling proposals that highlight the value proposition of the offered aircraft parts.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals :
  • Engage in negotiation processes to finalize terms and conditions of sales agreements.
  • Ensure that agreements are aligned with company policies and profitability targets.
  • Team Collaboration :
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including procurement, logistics, and technical teams, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis :
  • Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market dynamics, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Industry Networking :
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network, promote the company's products, and gather market intelligence.
  • Compliance and Documentation :
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, export / import requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to sales transactions.

10. Other duties that Vision Aero Management Team may assign .

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business, or equivalent experience in a related aviation field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in aircraft parts sales, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft components, systems, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
