We are seeking a skilled and reliable handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in various types of construction and home improvement tasks, including : Drywall : Installation, repair, and finishing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
- Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards
- Stucco application and repair.
- Finish Flooring : Wood flooring installation, tile setting, and repair.
- Concrete Work : Basic concrete pouring and finishing. Pavers Installation : Laying and setting pavers for driveways, walkways, and patios.
- Qualifications : 4+ years of proven experience as a handyman or similar position.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ability to handle physical workload (ability to lift 50lbs)
- Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and approachable
- Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, and physical
- Strong knowledge of basic construction, home repair, and maintenance.
WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to ascend / descend ladders and balance.
- Frequent work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling and working overhead.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and / or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
- May work in closed or cramped spaces on occasion.
