- Operational & EHS Functions
- Provide customers with consistent gypsum rock
- Operate and maintain Excavator, FEL, Crusher / Screener units as directed by mine management
- Perform daily inspection for the machinery
- Help identify needs to other colleagues and management
- Perform basic maintenance or assist mechanics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude or experience desired.
- Maintain housekeeping in the work environment all the time
- Complete 60 Seconds to Think, Work Permits, SMAT & EMAT audits
- Be willing to be cross- trained to fill in other jobs in case of absence and vacations
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Physical Demands :
- Vision - important if color distinction, visual inspection, measuring / assembling at distance close to eye is essential to job 90%
- Reading and Writing - Expressing or receiving detailed information by nonverbal means 30%
- Climb / Balance - important if the amount and kind of climbing or balancing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion 90%
- Bend / Stoop / Kneel / Crouch / Crawl -important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles 90%
- Standing / Walking : Particularly for sustained periods of time 90%
- Sitting : Particularly for sustained periods of time 70%
- Finger / Grasp / Handle / Feel : Working, primarily with fingers 70%

Quals
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and / or mining and rock handling operations required.
- Min of 2 years of experience performing basic maintenance on HDE (Preferred)
