We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of product development, design, troubleshooting, and manufacturing.

Exploring cutting-edge technologies and products for treating atrial fibrillation. The ideal candidate possesses critical thinking, analytical problem-solving skills with a desire to contribute real-world solutions, in a fast-paced start-up environment working with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

What you will be doing :

• Offer expertise in electrical engineering to conceive, create, analyze, and troubleshoot novel product designs, encompassing both analog and digital circuitry.
• Designs various device to device interfaces as required (e.g. I2C, SPI, LVDS, Fiber Optics)
• Provide support of developing testing environments for characterization, verification & validation, and manufacturing.
• Collaborates with mechanical engineers and industrial design consultants to design usability, manufacturability, and serviceability into future commercial designs.
• Sustains and revises documentation of requirements and design (schematic, layout, assembly files) throughout the entire lifecycle of the system.
• Participates in onsite manufacturing or onsite repair of electronic medical equipment used for diagnostic or treatment purposes.

What we are looking for :

7 + years of recent experience in electrical engineering and a Bachelor's and / or Master's degree in an engineering discipline;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong background in PCB design methodology including CAD tools (Altium Designer preferred).
• Experience with design, verification, and validation of Class III medical devices or similar regulated product
• C / C++, LabVIEW and / or Python scripting. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, simulate and resolve issues in embedded system designs.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position located in California.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by location, additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
