Responsibilities
PRG is looking to build a Per Diem labor pool of qualified employees who are looking to become or remain a part of the entertainment industry with a flexible work schedule.
Per Diem employees are non-union employees utilized as needed to work flexible schedules and hours based on business needs.
- Per diem employees are maintained in an active status with PRG.
- Scheduled shifts and hours can vary significantly from week to week based on business needs.
- Weekly schedules will be managed and provided to employees with as much advance notice as possible.
- Per diem employees are eligible to receive overtime should they exceed their scheduled hours (with manager approval) in accordance with state & federal regulations.
- Per diem employees will be considered for full-time openings with PRG as opportunities become available.
BENEFITS : Per diem employees are not benefit eligible.
HOLIDAY PAY : Per diem employees are not eligible for holiday pay. Employees who are not eligible for holiday pay and who work on a holiday will be paid for their actual hours worked at their regular rate of pay.
PAID TIME OFF ( PTO ) : Employees classified as per diem will accrue sick time based upon federal and state requirements.
No other paid time off is accrued while in the classification.
PRG per diem employees will provide general warehouse labor, including but not limited to :
Warehouse distribution
- Operation of material handling equipment including forklifts, power pallet jacks, and all other warehouse equipment
- Case stacking and Storage practices
Quality Control - Equipment Prep
Equipment preparation of production equipment for live events and broadcast markets. Categories serviced : Audio, Camera, Broadcast Systems, LED, Lighting, Rigging, Video
Fulfillment
- Barcoding scanning
- Equipment packaging and labeling
- Truck loading and unloading
Logistics
- Driver Non CDL
- Vans-Sprinters- Small Box Trucks
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in any of the following disciplines : A / V, Lighting, Rigging, Audio, Warehouse
- Warehouse experience a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Availability to work overtime during peak seasons
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
- Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving. Physical activities include frequent use of hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and / or reaching regularly
- Ability to work with warehouse and material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts and other such equipment.
Certifications are a plus.
- Fluency in English
