We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team onsite at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB), GA.

Job Description :
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting complex network solutions.
You will work closely with other IT professionals, government personnel, and contractors to ensure optimal performance and security of the network systems.
Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure network reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Perform regular network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest network technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure the network infrastructure remains current and robust.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level network design and management.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required by the location and nature of the work.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Prior experience working in a military or defense environment.
- Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and VoIP solutions.
- Experience with network automation and scripting.
