Description
About the Role : A Warehouse Worker at Brand Avenue is essential for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
This role involves receiving, storing, picking, and packing merchandise, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Receive and unload incoming merchandise, verifying quantities and quality.
- Store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to order specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shelves, aisles, and storage spaces.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and reach.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
