Cedar Hills Hospital has an opportunity for a to join our team of great people!
Military Program Therapist This position works on the Military Unit (AKA STAR Program) with active duty and veterans. This unit is a rehabilitation level of care, while still an inpatient setting.
This position is very similar to the Unit Therapist position described above, but again is specific to the Military Program.

Qualifications
Education : Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required.
Experience : Prefered : one (1) of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills;
must have strong clinical assessment skills. New Master's graduates encouraged to apply!
Prior Military experience or Military treatment experience highly preferred.
Licensure : Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, Temporary CSWA license or LCSW license required or working to obtain licensure.
Additional Requirements : CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
