Position Summary : The accounting software support specialist for Acumatica is in charge of making sure employees have access to company software and know how to use it.
This position will provide direct training and as well as phone / Teams support for the Acumatica software. The support specialist will have three cost centers that they are the full charge accountant for.
This role uses specialized ledgers and software to record and process expenditures, receipts, payroll, or other financial transactions as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities :
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues in timely manner as they relate to Acumatica
- Provide support to the accountants in the field with regards to accounting software
- Look for ways to streamline the accounting process through standardization and automation
- Documenting common support procedures that coworkers can follow
- Develop training process for new accountants
- Track daily local cash and cash reserve balances for units
- Process disbursements and income received
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a weekly basis, including but not limited to cash, accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable and purchases clearing;
research and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and review postings to the GL for accuracy and timeliness, and monthly and on-demand financial statements for senior management
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 2 or more years of accounting experience
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :
Maintain strict confidentiality
Computer Skills :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
- Willingness to learn new software as needed
- Previous experience with day-to-day tasks in accounting software
Certificates and Licenses :
- Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
