What You Will Do :

As a Teller / Banker, you will often deliver the very first impression of the credit union to our members (credit union lingo for customers).

You will become an expert and champion of Security Service products and services to help our members reach their financial goals.

You will build and nurture long-lasting relationships by promoting our checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and insurance services, to name a few.

You will only offer products and services that meet our member's needs and contribute to their financial success. You will be a team player and support the credit union in becoming America's Best by meeting sales goals, proactively identifying cross-sell opportunities, and educating members on digital services available to them.

You will provide "universal" service and will be cross-trained in both teller and banker functions to better serve our members.

Starting Pay-$20.00 per hour.

What We Require :

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of financial institution experience in Member Service or Cash Operations or comparable experience in cash handling, customer service, or sales experience.

Good communication skills and professional demeanor with the ability to speak to internal and external customers and process their requests in a confidential manner.

Basic computer skills to send and respond to email messages, search for information on internal intranet, and utilize electronic resources and equipment.

Adapts to changing work environments, work priorities and organizational needs. Able to work in a fast-paced sales and transactional environment while multi-tasking.

Able to foster a teamwork attitude to ensure all credit union goals and objectives are achieved. At management discretion employee may be required to complete, within 180 days of request, federal registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) as required by the Secure and Fair Enforcement of Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (S.

A.F.E. Act). If registered, must maintain active registration, and comply with all requirements of the S.A.F.E. Act, including but not limited to, providing their unique identifier, and ensuring the Registry is updated with significant changes (i.

e., name changes and reportable changes to legal or regulatory actions) within 30 days and must update employment and personal information in the Registry as required.

If required to register as an MLO, will successfully pass a background check against the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Excluded Parties List (EPL), the HUD Limited Denial of Participation List (LDP List), and the Federal Housing Finance Agency's (FHFA) Suspended Counterparty Program (SCP) list as required by secondary market investors.

Must maintain ability to pass any subsequent background checks against these lists and comply with all their requirements.
