Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Product Specialist (T) with 8 to 12 years of experience in Emerson DeltaV other DCS systems PLC and SCADA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain domains.
This hybrid role requires working primarily during the day shift with no travel requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our systems and ensuring seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Emerson DeltaV and other DCS systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the integration of PLC and SCADA systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DCS PLC and SCADA systems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Train and mentor junior team members on system operations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary hardware and software components.
- Ensure all systems are aligned with the companys manufacturing and supply chain strategies.
- Participate in project planning and execution to support business objectives.
- Provide input on system design and architecture to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong technical background in Emerson DeltaV and other DCS systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in PLC and SCADA systems.
- Have experience in the manufacturing and supply chain domains.
- Exhibit excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Show proficiency in system integration and optimization.
- Display strong documentation and communication skills.
- Have the ability to train and mentor junior team members effectively.
- Be proactive in monitoring and maintaining system performance.
